Surrey Schools' Book of the Year

Are you in Grade 4, 5, 6 or 7?  Do you LOVE to READ???  Then this is the program for you!  The Surrey Schools' Book of the Year program is a reader's choice award.  You will read at least 5 of the 10 titles and then vote for your favourite book!  The book with the most votes will become the Surrey Schools' Book of the Year!  Check out the nominated books at http://surreyschoolsbookoftheyear.weebly.com/

Katzie Annex Library

The library at the annex is starting to take shape!  Students have enjoyed their first book sign out last week and are learning how to take care of their books.  This week we are learning to be responsible for our books by bringing them back and forth to the library in a plastic bag.  This is especially important with all the rain we've had lately!
